The Eastbay 49 is a top-quality hard top express whose elegant appearance and meticulous construction represent the ultimate in classic American Yachting. A Strikingly handsome yacht with a long foredeck and traditional and traditional Downeast styling, she's built on a deep V hull with a short keel and prop pockets for reduced draft. The 49 Eastbay's rich 2-stateroom interior features a blend of hand-rubbed teak cabinetry, a teak and holly cabin sole, Corian counter-tops and custom hardware. Her spacious enclosed helm deck provides comfortable seating for a small crown. Some features in the helm deck are drop down flat screen with SAT TV and air conditioning. Her aft cockpit also boasts a great seating area and engine room access. Her wide side decks make it a pleasure to venture to the spacious foredeck for entertaining or enjoying an intercoastal cruise. From top-to-bottom she shows great and is ready to cruise.
- Enclosed Helm Deck Area
- The helm deck salon area has a new custom enclosure and entry door. Two 12K BTU reverse cycle AC systems for climate control, two overhead hatches with screens, opening side windows and custom drop down flat screen TV. Both the helm and passenger seats are over three feet long so two people can sit in each. Under the port seat is an icemaker and storage. The helm seat has three storage drawers and lockers and are all varnished teak with custom bookshelves on the aft side. Aft of the port seat is a large L-shaped settee with ten feet of seating and a large hi-lo drop leaf dining table. To starboard is a settee with end table. All helm deck seating is done in navy blue Sunbrella with linen piping. Good storage below all seating.
- Salon Seating
- Aft of the head is a 9 foot long U-shaped settee with an end table, CD player, stereo and locker. Speakers are on helm deck, salon and master stateroom. Settee's have custom seat cushions. There is a varnished teak drop leaf dining table, flat screen built-in TV and a DVD that plays on all three TV's
- Galley
- A large U-shaped galley is opposite the settee in the lower salon. There is a Mont Blanc Corian countertop, two Grand Banks style, teak faced, stainless steel lined refrigerator boxes with a Grunert cold plate system. There is a top load ice box in the aft port corner, 3-burner electric stove with oven, microwave, stainless steel sink, Seagull water purifier tap, drawers and lockers below. A pantry is opposite the settee.
- Master Stateroom
- Forward is the owner's stateroom with an island double berth with custom mattress, bureaus with large drawers and lockers to port and starboard and new flat screen TV. A generous hanging locker is to starboard with a large head with separate shower stall with a new custom glass shower door. Under the berth is a chart drawer and two other drawers. Overhead is a large hatch, and opening stainless steel port to starboard and an opening stainless steel port in the head.
- Guest Stateroom
- The guest cabin is aft to port with two athwartship single berths, seven large drawers under the berths, a hanging locker outboard between the berths, two stainless steel opening ports and hatch a hatch overhead and air conditioning. Opposite this cabin is a head and shower, vacuflush toilet, stainless steel opeing port and dorade vent.
