Distinctive styling has been the hallmark of Maxum designs ever since the company introduced it's first boats in the late 1980s. In a market crowded with midsize family cruisers, the 350 SCR offers a combination of agressive good looks, spacious accomodations, and a practical cockpit layout, all at a moderate price compared with the upmarket products of Sea Ray, Formula, and Cruisers.
Built on a beamy modified-V hull, the absence of side-decks allows for a particularly expansive interior. The floorplan contains an offset double berth forward with privacy curtan, a semicircular lounge, a midcabin aft with twin bunks that convert into a double berth, and a compact galley.
In the cockpit, a U-shaped seating area converts into a sun pad and visibility from the elevated helm is excellent. A hatch in the bridgedeck sole provides good access to the engine space. A transom shower, walk-though windshield, and wet bar are standard.
