Launched in 1984, TYEE is an exceptionally built and finished performance cruising yacht. Her large ketch rig is easily handled with the help of Harken Battcars on the fully battened main and mizzen, and the stainless steel Reckmann furling on the headsail. There is a large flush foredeck for handling the asymmetrical spinnakers with ATN spinnaker snuffers. The center cockpit is very comfortable whether you are sailing or lying at anchor. She has proven herself to be very capable and comfortable in even the roughest of conditions. She has made three cruises to the Sea of Cortez and has done the 1994 Pacific Cup race from San Francisco to Hawaii.
